The office of RKT Technologies, Inc. in Londonderry, NH is well equipped for software development. Resources include:
  • A full-time T1 connection to the Internet
  • Many computers up to Pentium 2-GHz class, some of which drive multiple large-screen high-resolution monitors, all running Linux, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP or some combination (e,g, Windows under Linux). Software includes:
    • Full set of UNIX tools
    • C and C++ development including compilers and a graphical debugger
    • The X Windows System including OpenWindows and a freeware version of Motif
    • Web servers, FTP servers, dialup Internet access server
    • Word processors (Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, several UNIX word processors)
    • Software Development (Visual BASIC, Visual C++, GNU C/C++, source code analyzers)
    • Website Development (Microsoft Front Page; other HTML tools; Graphics/Image Editors)
    • Optical Character Recognition (Textbridge Pro)
    • Full range of Internet tools (Telnet, FTP, Web Browsers, etc.)
  • Color flatbed scanners
  • Laser printers and high resolution color inkjet printers including Epson Stylus Color 1520 "C"-size (17"x22")
  • Notebook Computers: up to Pentium 1.9 GHz, running Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Linux.  Each has an ethernet network interface, and easily interfaces to a standard keyboard, mouse, and display, and usually to any ethernet-based network. One or another of these notebook computers is frequently used as my desktop computer when I am on-site at a client's facility.
  • Lab-quality test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

In addition, RKT Technologies, Inc. owns and operates a Beechcraft Bonanza airplane which is used to meet travel needs outside of the immediate area.
